Dr Jack Zaks BVSc
Founder and Principal Veterinary Surgeon.
Dr Zaks previously gained experience at Lort Smith Animal Hospital and RSPCA in Burwood.
Jack has an extremely friendly and practical approach to veterinary practice. Although Dr Zaks is not a registered specialist, he has a key interest in dermatology (skin conditions), arthritis and Orthopaedics. Through careful history taking and extensive clinical examinations, Dr Zaks has been able to solve most of the difficult skin, ear and arthritic cases presented to him.


Dr Andrew Vickery

Andy graduated from Queensland University with Honours in Veterinary Science in 1984.
After several years working in private practice in Australia, Canada and the UK, he became a Member of the Surgery Chapter of The Australian College of Veterinary Science in 2006.
As well as post-graduate training in surgery with Sydney University's Centre for Veterinary Education, he has undergone orthopaedic training in the USA with the AO foundation, the University of Georgia, and the Oquendo Centre, Nevada. He has also completed training in Soft Tissue Surgery at the NAVC Institute, in Florida.


Dr Harold Pook BVSc, MVSc
Professional Interest Practitioner in Internal Medicine
Harold graduated from Melbourne University in 1979. He undertook an internship and residency at Saskatoon from 1983-1986. During the next 9 years Harold had a position in Internal Medicine on faculty at Guelph University.
Since then, Harold has been operating a mobile internal medicine and diagnostic service in Melbourne and Geelong. Harold performs Ultrasonography, Endoscopy, Oncology and other diagnostic procedures.
